Women sweater for the cooler climes
For the fashion conscious woman the beauty and elegance of summer clothing should continue into winter. The choice of women sweater can give a million dollar look or a workhouse look depending on the thought that has gone into buying the outfit. Fashion may change but the basics of style, pattern and fiber blends remain constant.
Women sweater looks vary depending on the size of the person. Heavy set women should not go in for sweaters that have a turtle neck or a bulky. This is a comfy style for the slim woman to wear at home or maybe to wear to the grocery store with a pair of skinny jeans. The "V" neck women sweater which is long will slim down the heavy woman. While a chunky women sweater is good for casual wear for the office it should always be a well fitted women sweater worn with a slim skirt or trousers. The other women sweater necklines are the round, cowl necked, scooped and when styled with the length of the sweater and the sleeves can make pretty sweater styles.
Some women sweater have the plain knit whilst others have the cable pattern which has a raised effect and the argyle pattern of alternately colored diamonds.
Cashmere and mohair makes for an elegant and soft women sweater. For when the weather is not too cold the cotton sweater is a comfortable choice.
Accessories play an important part in bringing out the sweater. Chunky jewelry is nice for casual wear but for an elegant occasion, a row or two of pearls is hard to beat. Hats and footwear add to the final look.
Care of the women sweater too is also an important consideration. Dry cleaning is the best answer to clean sweaters. If hand washed the garment should not be hung to dry since it will stretch when it hangs down. Spread it on a flat surface. Cashmere sweaters should not be hung but folded.
For cold weather there should be lightweight sweaters for autumn when the weather is just beginning to cool. These keep one warm without getting literally boiled. Heavier buttoned up sweaters will be needed for the colder winter months.
