Raggedy Ann Costume For Halloween Tips Guide
During these days the staying inside your home and wearing comfortable clothing can offer the best pleasures. Although your boss at the office might disapprove, living "raggedy" can be the perfect antidote for routine nine to five business life. Should you not consider yourself to be a trendsetter, you can experience the raggedy look for a day.
On your next masquerade event dress up as Raggedy Ann and spend some time as one of the universally known and beloved dolls. Undecided about how you can successfully accomplish the raggedy look? There are numerous ways you can choose to assemble the doll costume.
There are a few basic elements to the Raggedy Ann Doll, one being her trademark hair. It will be rather hard to create this hairstyle by yourself but if you're set on it, cut off the top of a mop and die it red. You need to use that as your wig or you can find one at a local store or online, its at your discretion! The natural brunette and blonde ladies out there may find the red locks very becoming, so setting up a wig allows you to be a red head whenever you want.
Onto your hair should lie a small white hat which stands upright like a chef's hat, but has a rounded top. This hat can also have a small rim with white trim. Again if you are having difficulty finding one, ensure it is yourself. You can take a small white piece of cloth and cover a rounded object - like a small plastic ball with it. Tie a small ribbon around the bottom and bobby bin the fabric in position.
The unique Raggedy Ann doll from the 1920 books wore a blue flowered dress and white overall apron. Now she also had button which served for eyes which should alert you that you don't need everything to give the authentic look. Picking up a simple blue dress which balloons out from the waist line and has a small white trim on the bottom, should work just fine. The sleeves can be t-shirt length and the neckline can have a white collard trim. Most of the dress should be covered up by a white overall dress. The combination of the two layers is likely to make the dress complete.
You'll repeat the red pattern from your hair completely down your toes by wearing red and white striped stockings. These leggings worn over a pair of simple black shoes will increase the risk for quintessential Raggedy Ann look. Now all you have to find is a partner to be Raggedy Ann and the courage to create the raggedy look on the forefront of fashion.

Answer:
The answer is no, not offhand but years ago I made them using a McCall or Simplicity pattern and bought several because I tend to lose pieces so I have one I'd be glad to give to you. It is unopened and unused.
